The Al Lissane institute was created in order to develop and deepen the study of the Arabic language, the understanding of the Arab world and its cultural variety. Proposing academic or simple linguistic and cultural training courses, the Institute caters for the lay person and the student, and welcomes today several hundreds people. This organism also proposes training for becoming an Arabic teacher (as foreign language). A two years degree in Arabic language and literature is required for admission.
